Sofitel Chicago Magnificent Mile

Sofitel is centrally located in the Gold Coast and its unique architecture is stunning. Higher floor rooms offer beautiful views of the city and Lake Michigan. This year Sofitel is bringing back their version of Paris’ “Love Locks” bridge, making this one of our favorite romantic getaways in Chicago.

As homage to the famous bridge, romantics are invited to attach locks to a display at the entrance of the hotel declaring their eternal love and friendship throughout the entire month of February.

Every lock attached to the exhibit last year will return with the installation so couples can return to visit their messages of love. At the end of the month, the display will be taken down and stored until the following February when it returns with all of its locks from previous years.

Those looking for a grander experience may want to try the Magnifique Romance package which includes a love lock, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, complimentary breakfast, and a luxurious late check out of 4:00 p.m. (upon availability).
