Caribbean Resorts and Villas Large Groups will Love
Bahamas
Atlantis, Bahamas
Atlantis in the Bahamas is perfect for a multigenerational family vacation because there are activities that cater to all ages. You also have the option to just relax at one of the property’s 11 pools or 2 beaches. There is no need to leave the resort!
Both kids and adults will love the Aquaventure water park. There are slides of varying thrill levels. Only the bravest will attempt the “Leap of Faith” which goes straight down and through the shark tank. Everyone can enjoy the lazy river or playing in the waves.
Atlantis Resort has more to offer than just water activities! Their aquarium, called the Dig, is definitely worth a visit. Families can race in the Atlantis Speedway, a remote-controlled car facility. There is also an arcade. For adults, there is a casino, comedy club, and nightclub. This Atlantis Bahamas review can help you plan a trip.
When it comes to mealtime, there are many restaurants to choose from at the resort. Several offer special child menus.
If you need some kid-free time, those 3-12 years old can head to Atlantis Kids Adventure. In the evenings, those ages 9 -12 can hang out at Club Rush.
To get to Atlantis, you can take a taxi for around $35 from Nassau airport (NAS). Ground transportation can also be booked through the resort, but that will be more expensive. Anisa of Traveling Texans

Turks and Caicos
Beaches, Turks and Caicos
Beaches Turks and Caicos is the gold standard for family resorts, not just in the Caribbean, but anywhere in the world! Located on world-famous Grace Bay, Beaches has calm surf perfect for kids, a huge beachfront with plenty of space, and the most comprehensive kids club I have ever seen. They even offer nanny services for infants!
Beaches has several pools, a splash pad, a lazy river, waterslides, and plenty of entertainment for older kids with snorkeling, kayaking, a surf simulator, and a swim-up kids bar.
The kids club is over-the-top with activities including snorkeling, soccer, and visits from Sesame Street characters. It is not the kind of kids club where the kids stay in one place the whole time. It is also open late to allow parents to enjoy a nice dinner if they wish. For older kids, there is an Xbox lounge and a kids’ disco.
When it comes to the rooms, there is everything from a basic room with a balcony to a beachfront house with butler service. There is every level of service you can want.
If you have forgotten anything, you can probably buy it on-site in their large souvenir shop.
The one downside to Beaches Turks and Caicos is that it is HUGE. It can take a long time to walk from one end to the other. They do offer a golf cart service, but we generally walked.
If you do want to leave the resort, there are trips to other beaches, but there are not a lot of other things to do on the island, activity-wise.
Top Tip: Try breakfast at a different restaurant each day, as their buffet-style menus are all a bit different. Also do not be afraid to ask for something if you do not see it. They might just be able to make it for you. Lindsay of Carpe Diem Our Way Travel
To reach the hotel you can take the free hotel shuttle from Providenciales International Airport (PLS).

Moon Palace, Jamaica
Moon Palace Jamaica is ideal for families of all ages. The resort offers multiple room types, including some amazing suites, as well as a variety of service package levels. But the big draw for multigenerational families will be all of the activities available on site.
For those looking for fun, the resort offers four pools spread across the resort including an adults-only pool, and a family pool with a waterslide and a nearby splash pad. The kid’s clubs are also located near the family pool area. The resort also has a Flowrider, a wave generator that lets kids and adults try surfing, or even bodyboarding.
If you’re looking for a little more relaxation, the Moon Palace Jamaica has a beautiful cove beach with plenty of lounge chairs. And, this resort has one of the best spas I’ve ever experienced. Your spa treatment starts with a water journey experience that helps you relax and prepare for your pampering treatment.
Lastly, the resort has eight different restaurants from fine dining to pizza on the pier, making it easy for families to find food that will appeal to everyone! Large families should definitely make a reservation at Momo, the resort’s hibachi grill restaurant which can seat nine at one grill table.
Top tip: My biggest tip would be to allow time to enjoy the property, but also splurge and book a private driver or tour to some of the popular things to do in Ocho Rios.
We loved our time off-property including ziplining on Mystic Mountain, taking a cooking class at Yaaman Adventure Park, and of course hiking up Dunn’s River Falls (one of the best waterfalls in Jamaica) – although that’s not recommended for young children or older adults with mobility issues as it’s slippery and a bit dangerous.
The Moon Palace is located in Ocho Rios, which is about an hour and a half from the Montego Bay Sangster International Airport (MBJ). You can book a bus transfer with the Moon Palace or hire a private driver if you want to avoid the bus system.

Radisson Blu Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The newly opened Radisson Blu Punta Cana is one of the few Radisson Blu properties to offer all-inclusive service. There are endless opportunities for children and adults to have fun together on-site, meaning you never have to leave the property!
Rooms are particularly well suited for multigenerational travel. They offer 2 and 3-room suites that are basically apartments. Each unit has a washer and dryer, meaning you can pack less! There are full kitchens as well, basically giving you all the benefits of an apartment with the amenities of an all-inclusive resort. The two and three-bedroom suites also have a dining area, and for an extra fee you can choose to have one of the hotel’s chefs come to your room and cook a family meal there.
In terms of activities, Radisson Blu Punta Cana has a Kids Club for younger children with daily activities like games and crafts. And there are also activities suited for the whole family, including dancing lessons, beach volleyball, and floating fitness. There’s also family-friendly pool parties and nightly shows. Adults may enjoy yoga, guided meditation, or CrossFit lessons. One activity the whole family can do together is cooking classes; best of all, it’s free!

Royalton, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
Royalton Punta Cana is an all-inclusive resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Caribbean. It is perfect for a multigenerational family vacation as it combines the luxury of Royalton Punta Cana with the kid-friendly amenities of the neighboring Royalton Splash.
The main section of Royalton Punta Cana has 317 rooms, which makes it one of the smaller resorts in Punta Cana. It is located at Arena Gorda Beach, where the whole family can enjoy one of Punta Cana’s beautiful beaches.
Those looking for some comfort and recreation can relax in the luxury suites, the well-maintained pool area, or the several bars with premium drinks. If parents or grandparents would like to enjoy further quality time, they can use the spa or book a romantic dinner.
For dining, families can choose from the buffet restaurant and 4 a la carte restaurants at Royalton Punta Cana, as well as 3 further restaurants at neighboring Royalton Splash.
Royalton Splash is also home to the huge water park, which the kids will love, as it is one of the largest in the entire Caribbean. It features an amazing array of water games and slides, among them a monster waterslide, a black-hole slide as well as kamikaze and multi-lane waterslides.
Top tip: leave the resort for a few day trips and explore the many hidden gems Punta Cana has to offer. My recommendation for families is Montaña Redonda for an off-the-beaten-track adventure or Scape Park Cap Cana for a family amusement park.
Pro tip: if Royalton Punta Cana doesn’t fit your budget, you can also book Royalton Splash, which is a cheaper all-inclusive resort, as quality and services are a little bit below Royalton Punta Cana.
Royalton Punta Cana is just a 30-minute drive away from Punta Cana International Airport. Chris from Punta Cana Travel Blog
